Loving memories of dear Noel. Meric was my eldest brother. A fatherly figure who always corresponded with me throughtout his army service. Then there was Keith - a little more distant from me - having won a scholarship to Colstons Boarding School. Then Noel who was only two and three quarters years old when I arrived on the scene. I can never remember Noel saying "no" to me. As soon as my legs were strong enough I could always wander to the Tump, to Purdown, Duchess Lake and Snuff Mills with him and his friends. I never had to ask if I was included in their excursions and dear Mum never doubted that he would bring me back safely. We were naughty sometimes but Noel has been there for all my life. God bless you - I miss and love you, Sylvia
